Simply move your cursor to any location at the bottom of the screen and all your apps will appear around your cursor in a dense circular cluster which allows you to reach them all with minimal cursor travel.
Dark mode makes everything easier on your eyes while respecting images and other content.
Free Select allows you to select just the right files, by allowing you to draw any shape to select objects instead of rectangles.
blckOS uses machine learning to analyze your workflow, and creates a zoom user interface, grouping clusters of apps that you commonly use together. From this view you can zoom into clusters and be productive with all your favorite apps, without launching them individually.
Workshop Mode makes it easy to multitask with a small amount of apps. Just pick what apps you want in your Workshop and then blckOS will give you a canvas to drag them onto. Apps will dynamically take up as much as the screen as possible.
Annotate apps, and your desktop with UI Tools. UI Tools make it easy to write comments on documents, make tutorials, or give presentations.
A long press gesture on any device reveals a radial menu which moves important functions to your finger. This is the equivalent of the right click menu. Rather than scrolling to the bottom of a list which could be hundreds of pixels away from your cursor, radial menus give all menu elements an equal distance from the cursor.
Also shown in the picture is shelf. Shelf is a super functional alternative to the clipboard. Simply drag items on Shelf to store them for later. Then you can just drag them from shelf into any supported context.
Mods transform the blckOS interface in dynamic ways which provide numerous adjustments to your workflow ranging from making it easier to focus on whats important, to new app management.
Force dragging on blckOS allows you to draw various shapes on the screen which correspond to system actions or shortcuts. You can also add custom drawings in the settings apps.
With blckOS you can select multiple objects with your cursor. Additionally, since blckOS is the same on all platforms, it recognizes multiple fingers.
For users with impaired vision, blckOS includes UI magnification which makes UI elements their cursor bigger.
Some buttons, like the done button, are super important to your experience. That's why blckOS will do everything possible to make these buttons easy to reach. On mobile this means sensing what hand you are using to interact with the phone, and on desktop this means moving it if another window is in the way.
Despite being vibrant, dynamic and simple, blckOS still has a lot of professional applications that allow you to design and code websites, write documents, compile spreadsheets, produce video along with make gorgeous presentations.
Every app has a corresponding widget which displays essential information in a convenient and easily accessible design, or provides simple functionality.
The blur nod blurs all the non-active windows, making it really easy to concentrate on whats important.
Icons grow based on how often each app is clicked and how long they are used. The icons grow based on the golden ratio to maintain a consistent and natural hierarchy. To rearrange icons, simply long press and drag. blckOS dynamically positions icons using a circle packing algorithm to maximize how many icons are on the screen at any given time. Additionally blckOS, uses probability to group relevant apps together, and gives precedence to the most reachable areas of the screen.
At night blckOS automatically switches whites to blacks, and cool colors to warm colors, making the OS easier on your eyes while respecting content.
The blckOS lock screen is insanely powerful, customizable and secure. Pressing on a notification brings up a dialog that offers a wealth of relevant information in an almost full screen view. Every device supports multiple users, including guest mode, meaning that your data is safe while family members or even complete strangers want to use your phone.
The contacts app is the center of all your communication on blckOS. From here you can send emails, texts, drawings, make phone calls, and send people money.
blckOS Chat features rich media preview, and new options when sending messages. For instance you can send picture galleries. Unlike current messaging apps, in Chat you can use typography to convey emotions such as sarcasm or anger.
A new take on the classic phone call screen. Not counting aesthetic differences such as the gorgeous background blur, or the usage of our signature circular UI, the only functional change is called "mirror".
Mirror is a small feature that adds an entirely new social component to audio calls. Mirror allows multiple users to seamlessly share their screens with each other. This means that a group of people can watch a movie together, at the same time, while talking about it.
Part of the conversation app (also shown in the previous image), is a realtime dictionary which presents you with definitions of words which are more complex that your usual speech and writing patterns.
The conversation app intelligently analyzes your conversation to present you with relevant information sourced from online encyclopedias.
